GfK achieved sales increase of 6.2% in 2011 based on preliminary figures

In financial year 2011, the GfK Group achieved an increase in sales and income. Based on the preliminary figures, sales were up by 6.2% to around EUR 1,374 million in financial year 2011. Adjusted operating income rose 1.8% to approximately EUR 188 million, with a margin of 13.7%. more >>

GfK Slovakia is introducing an essential innovation in the monitoring of FMCG and fresh groceries

October 13, 2011 - As of January 2012, GfK Consumer Tracking is introducing the new In Home Scanning method that collects data on household purchases by means of barcode scanners. These scanners will be allocated to 1500 Slovak and 2000 Czech households grouped in the GfK household panel and will thus substitute the existing data collection method in the form of the manual filling-in of shopping diaries.  more >>
